Rep. Miller Signs Bi-Partisan Letter of 140 Members of House Demanding a Vote in Congress on Use of Force in Syria

Harrison Township, MI – U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) today issued the following statement regarding the ongoing conflict in Syria.

“Today I joined with a bi-partisan group of 140 of my colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives to sign a letter to President Obama urging him to seek authorization from Congress, as required by law and the Constitution, before ordering the use of U.S. military forces in the Syrian Civil War.  We all stand ready to return to the Capitol immediately to engage in this necessary debate and vote on this critical issue.”
