Rep. Miller Met with Area Farmers During the 8th Annual "Dinner on the Farm"

Harrison Township, MI – This past Monday, U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) went to E & B Miller Farms in Bad Axe, MI for the 8th annual Dinner on the Farm.  More than 350 area farm bureau members from Huron, Sanilac, Lapeer, St. Clair, Macomb, and Tuscola counties where there for this unique event, co-sponsored by the farm bureaus, for Michigan agriculture and is the only one of its kind hosted in Michigan for a member of Congress.  Each year, the farm bureaus respectively take turns holding this event featuring Rep. Miller, and this year’s dinner host was the Huron County Farm Bureau.  During her speech, Rep. Miller covered an array of topics, such as tax reform, free trade, overturning burdensome regulation, and the need for a strong crop insurance program to be included in the upcoming Farm Bill.
