Rep. Miller Meets with Area Farmers During the 9th Annual "Dinner on the Farm"

Jun 25, 2013

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) today released the following photos from yesterday evening’s 9th Annual Dinner on the Farm.  Nearly 500 county farm bureau members from across Michigan’s 10th Congressional District (Tuscola, Huron, Sanilac, Lapeer, St. Clair and Macomb counties) attended the dinner where Rep. Miller was the featured speaker.  This year’s dinner host was the Tuscola County Farm Bureau, and Rep. Miller spoke to those attending about why the farm bill in the House of Representatives failed and the possible path forward of decoupling the agriculture programs from the nutrition-food stamp programs, as well as about the importance of having a farm bill in America and why the continued support of our nation’s agricultural industry and heritage should remain one of our highest priorities.
