Rep. Miller Applauds $165,000 Grant to Walbro Engine Management, LLC in Cass City
WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) applauded the Michigan Strategic Fund’s $165,000 grant to Walbro Engine Management, LLC for its expansion in Cass City expected to create 28 new jobs.
“This grant is excellent news for Cass City,” Rep. Miller stated. “I applaud this grant to help Walbro Engine Management, LLC with their expansion, and I believe it will have a significant economic impact on the community.”
Walbro Engine Management, LLC, established in 1950 in Fenton and relocated to Cass City in 1954, is a manufacturer of carburetors, ignition systems, fuel storage systems, and other components for power equipment, marine, and recreational applications. The company is expanding its current facility in Cass City, investing nearly $4.2 million and creating 28 new jobs.
