Rep. Miller: Congratulations on the 100th Anniversary of the Aitkin Memorial District Library

Harrison Township, MI – U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) today offered her congratulations to the Aitkin Memorial District Library in Croswell, MI as they celebrate their 100th Anniversary. To mark this wonderful milestone, Rep. Miller presented the library with books ranging from children stories, educational, fiction and non-fiction novels from the Library of Congress’ book donation program in Washington, DC.

“The Aitkin Memorial District Library has served the community faithfully for 100 years, and this significant milestone is a testament to their quality public service,” said Miller. “The effects libraries can have on an individual are priceless, and the Aitkin Memorial District Library has met their mission every day ‘to enhance the quality of life for those in our community by responding to their informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs.’ I applaud the Library Director Jennifer Walters and every staff member as they continue to invest in the communities they serve.”
