WASHINGTON – U.S. Congresswoman Candice Miller (MI-10), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border and Maritime Security, will hold a hearing on Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00am to examine the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) efforts to secure the border at the official Ports of Entry (POE). In particular, the hearing will examine how resources are allocated at the POEs in terms of manpower, canine units and infrastructure, and whether or not those resources are properly deployed to stem the tide of illicit guns, money and drugs that cross the POEs.
The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00am in 311 Cannon. Live Web cast will begin at the start of the hearing.
