Harrison Township, MI – U.S. Congresswoman Candice Miller (MI-10) today announced that Enbridge has completed their final review of the design, implementation and safety plans and will begin work next week on replacing the segment of the Line 6B pipeline which runs under the St. Clair River.

“I am very encouraged by Enbridge’s announcement to begin work in the next few days on replacing the pipeline that runs under the St. Clair River,” said Miller. “Enbridge understands that the community has an expectation for them to perform their work, replace the existing pipe with a new one quickly and with safety as their utmost priority. We look forward to the completion of this project, protecting our water while continuing to supply needed energy.”

Note: Enbridge will replace 3,450 feet of the 30-inch Line 6B pipeline under the St. Clair River.
