“Governor Snyder made a great appointment of Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Brian Zahra to fill the seat formerly held by Supreme Court Justice Maura Corrigan. Judge Zahra is widely recognized as one of the top legal scholars in our state and someone who is dedicated to the rule of law. He has a deep understanding of our Constitution and the proper role of the courts within our system of government. Governor Snyder continues to show that he will call on Michigan’s best and brightest to assist in the effort to move our state forward. I applaud this excellent appointment by our governor.”
