WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) today announced a Export/Import Bank Seminar Monday, January 25th, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm to be held at Sterling Heights Public Library in Sterling Heights, MI. The seminar will provide information about federal government programs geared toward improving competitiveness in foreign markets. The seminar is open to all, especially business owners and entrepreneurs looking to sell in foreign markets.
“Members of my staff and representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Department of Commerce will be available to assist current or potential business owners and entrepreneurs with any questions they may have,” said rep. Miller. “Countless Michigan businesses and workers have been hit hard by the current economic crisis, we want ensure that our local community business men and women are educated about the programs and resources available to them so they can achieve a diversified customer base within new markets.”
