Congresswoman Candice Miller

Representing the 10th District of Michigan
  • Honoring Veterans from Michigan's 10th Congressional District

As Memorial Day approaches, I want share with you an interview I had the opportunity to tape 10 years ago with 3 amazing veterans from Michigan’s 10th district who spoke about their personal war accounts: Jack Wolfe, a WWII veteran, Jack Little, a veteran of Vietnam and Korea, and Digger O’Dell, who was held as a prisoner of war for 5 ½ years in North Vietnam. Their stories of service, sacrifice, hardship, and bravery detail how ordinary Americans become extraordinary heroes in the face of great peril. Since 2011, both Jack Wolfe and Jack Little have passed. For all of their service, and the service of all our military men and women, we are forever grateful.
